Do you watch it? You should.
I think this is a show where the name hurts it. Most people think of the 1978 series with the guy from Bonanza and the guy who would eventually play Face on the A-Team (Lorne Green and Dirk Benedict).
You're just going to have to trust me on this. The SciFi Channel has reinvented this series.
It's much more of a political drama than it is a science fiction show. The show is extremely well written and yes, it doesn't hurt that when they do show the spaceships, the special effects are awesome!
But it's the storyline that is gripping and tense. A fair mixture of political/religious/psychological drama that will keep you waiting until the next episode.
Don't let the whole space thing fool you. This show is a thousand times smarter than any other series on television right now. Brilliantly written and acted. I'm just sayin'.
