9/11 Movies

I won't watch any 9/11 movie. Mostly because I saw it happen with my own eyes, but also because the amount of inaccuracy in all the movies out there and that are about to be released.

I think it is too soon.

I have watched some of the documentaries, because they are real. Also, I try to spot any of the people I knew who died that day. I feel it's sick but at the same time, I guess I'm just trying to get a last glimpse.

However, CBS will be airing a documentary about that day. But they will be editing out all the curse words, ie. the word FUCK.

In a country where it is OK to show drug use, sex and a dozen other things more offensive than a WORD, this is what bothers television executives who listen to a MINORITY of people. No doubt the Family Television Council and some religious groups don't like hearing the word FUCK. These are uptight, uneducated and clueless people who feel such a telecast would damage their children's virgin ears.

These are people stupid enough to think that their children couldn't possibly hear such a word outside the house, like, in a neighborhood filled with kids of all ages, on the school bus, in the school yard.... oh no... these bad words come from TV.

On 9/11, what do you think the majority of words used were? There were probably more curse words uttered that day than on any other day of our country's history.

But how dare they air unedited footage of people who were there. How dare they air their true feelings, raw emotion and terror.

It's pathetic that this is even an issue.

To all of you who would object to hearing the word FUCK in a 9/11 documentary:

Fuck you and the fuck hole you came out of.

Moron.

I have seen two of the 9/11 movies (World Trade Center and United 93), and I enjoyed (as much as that is possible), both of them, but I can definitely see where you're coming from about not seeing them .. where CBS is coming from, however, I have no idea .. this is the sickest, stupidest thing I've come across in a long, long time .. fuck fuckity fuck fuck fuck
